Starting this Thursday May 12th we will be open every Thursday for open practice from 4pm-dusk for all bikes and quads. Cost is $20 per rider ($15 for 50's on their own track). There is no spectator fee! Patty's Food stand will also be open during practice hours! We also have flaggers on the track for the safety of the riders.
Remember if any rider is under the age of 18 they must have a parent or legal guardian (with notarized note stating they are the guardian) present for the entire practice! There will be NO exceptions to this rule!
The track is back in shape and finally dried out; weather forecast shows a perfect sunny and 75 degree day for Thursday!
Also at Thornwood this Sunday will be Round #4 of the 2011 Northern Motorsports/UpState Motocross series and Round #2 of the USMX Vintage series!
Gate will open Saturday @ 3pm until 11pm, and on Sunday @ 7am. Food stand will open Saturday @ 4pm. There will be signups available Sat night for Sundays race and also if you need to become a member of UpState MX. Signup Sunday morning from 7-9am.
Practice will begin Sun morning @ 8:45 so be there on time! There is NO late practice! Parts vendors will be on hand at the track also.
Only UpState MX members will receive points towards year end prizes and will be eligible to win a 2011 Kawasaki 250F from Northern Motorsports and USMX! You can join USMX at any of our races throughout the year. Each time you enter a class you get another chance towards the bike! Also you can Text the word USMX to 25827 to sign up for USMX news and alerts!
