cv-well i cannot attest but the inter up in the sayracuse area snow wise has been pretty active compared to the southern Central ny it relly makes you think when is this going to end
bv-I agree man it just seems non stop seems like I'm living on my roof shoveling it off all the time it's gettin old for sure

bv-Oh man well it was def a roller coaster ride for sure started off the year on the 250f and kinda stuggled just couldn't get comfortable on it so that combined with how much upkeep is required on the 250f I decided to get on the 450 in may i tested a friends 450 in april and really really liked it and really that's when the year turned around for me once i got on the 450 I just seemed to click on that bike and just kept making improvements every week in my ridin and fitness and then the results just kept gettin better better n eventually ended up pullin off the championship which was awesome because my goal was to jus be top three
cv-you have been a close contender for the last 2 years...but you have always had tough higher and same leval contenders what happend to them this year that made things possibly easyer?
bv-yea man this year the whole like idk scope of the class really changed. I remember in 09 pretty much the only c riders were me and you. Then in 2010 it seemed like alot of the a and b riders just stopped running and we had like 5 or 6 c riders it was cool for sure to have people close to your ability to race and push it. There's no denying that I wasnt the fastest guy to race that cllass all year but like what happend to dungey last year in supercross winning a championship is all about making it through the season and showin up is really half the battle
cv-yeah that and zack galloway coming out of no where in 2010 and opting to run collegeboy instead of schoolboy with the ama rule changes from the agelimit of collegeboy from 18-24 to 14-24
bv-yea def zack and I had some good races this year for sure. I give him alot of credit he def stepped up his game ten fold this past year its funny because in 09 he got worked over in d class but when he stepped up to c for the first half of the year the kid murdered me he was on it for sure but by the end of the year we were close and had some really good battles some days hed be jus a tick faster other days id be the faster one so it was alot of fun. I think hes going to be quick this year hes taking the off season pretty serious and hes gonna be on a 450 so once he gets used to that i think youll see him step it up even more for sure
cv-alot of people have been you with that all said what are your plans for 2011?

bv-well my plans for 2011 are to run the newly form upstate mx series. I am so pumped to have a series with 4 amazing tracks all within an hour of my house so Im really looking forward to that. I'm going to start the year off in novice get my feet under me and hopefullyby the middle or end of the year id really like to move up to am. I am also going to be moving into the +25 B/C combined class this year which I'm really looking forward too
cv-who do you thing your biggest competitors are going to be this year and what are you doing to prepare?
bv-Well man honestly for novice its tough to say because with the new series its tough to say whos gonna be there but im sure there will be alot of fast kids...in +25 adam hopkinson steve prockup and roco for sure are gonna be tough. Thats why Im so excited for plus 25 theres alot of people all really close in speed so its gonna be some great racing and alot of fun
as for my preparation.....
I really feel towards the end of last year I had picked it up quite a bit. I was a front runnder in novice finally and I felt like my fitness was getting better. Throughout the year though one thing i noticed was I had the speed to run up front the first two laps but then id hit a wall and get tired and fade hard. So this off season I hired a personal trainer we came up with a plan and weve been working really hard. I mean ive been training my butt off haha
so im hoping to just carry my momentum from the end of last year combine that with my new found fitness and hopefully improve on my results and get my riding up to the level I want it to be to be a fairly decent b rider

bv-I hope so man well just have to wait and see when the gate drops..hopefully by bein in better shape that allows me to ride harder faster longer and improve my technique.. and oh man yea theres a long list def gotta thank sport-mann honda, brandon takes great care of me there, factory connection, limited decal, fmf, dunlop, leatt brace,works connection,hinson moto option my dad for all the work he puts in on my bike and both him and my mom for always believing in me and supporting me.
