I want honest feed back... I have been doing a prayer at the rider's meetings at what ever track I'm at... and although I am not any sort of preacher , I am totally devoted to GOD (still a sinner ) and feel I should do some sort of devotional /chaple service of some sort at the races that I go to. so I guess I want to know if anybody wants this sort of thing.. thanks and please reply ethier positive or negative... team FAITH....ps: I'm scared to death to step out of my comfort zone to do this but feel it's the right thing to do... thanx for looking and please reply...
tom i think that is verry well put personaly..i am a man of the epsicapol faith..and have found god at my side in more then 1 situation and i pray not only for myself but for everyone in my life everynight before i go to bed....expecaily in these hard times when there is war, hardships, doomsday talk ect ect GOD is there and we must not also forget about jesus!!
but to answer your question i do know some riders who do not race becuse they feel they are required to attend church every sunday as part of there religion...this is normal...i feel that it may give some people peice of mind if there prayr service is performed at the tracks! and i think its a pratice that should be present in ALLL districts! god is with us every time we ride on that track and a prayer service is just are way of saying thankyou for staing by my side
Tomcat - I think its a great idea. I was in the Pro Pits at Unadilla before practice and I know they do a service there for all the pros, it was actually quit moving.
i like your idea. my father for example.. was never a church going man but i have heard him say more than once that he has enjoyed attending the quick services at the pro races.
