hello everyone its time for the first annual roost report now this is a " rough draft" versoin so bear with me
now its that time of the year again..its the end of march were all itching to get going butt this winter has been an interesting off season with quite a bit going on in `new york for our indusrie....
everyone schedual is just about out and finished and this weekend most districts are set to drop that gate weather pending so for most places bring that mud gear becuse its going to be a muddy one! frozen ocean, silver springs, savannah all set toi drop there gates for teh 2011 season so lets hope the winter holds out..savannah even held there first pratice on 3/20 with a big crowd so i hear
i was not among them..i acctuly was out at cato last sunday to give sid a hand with his new wattering system for 2011 and the track was acctuly dry and ridable all but 1 part and there are some exciting changes there for 2011 but good luck tryimg to get me to spoil the suprise..sid and paula, have been working verry hard this off season to get thinsg ready for this year to make it the best season yet expect a great year at cato mx with some new features and some old time motocross fun..but not just cudos to them but to adam and jeff to from thornwood mx and the whole crew involved with the new usmx so far we have not even started racing yet...like i said i am not goint to spill the beans for cato mxs new "goodies" but i will give a sneak peak for there "rough draft
but in the offseason expecialy one thing and probly the most interesting thing i have seen is the wnyma thanks to mxride.com has come up with a application for andriod operationg systems for cell phones for information and updates on mx...with everything going mobile these days this has to be the most cool and usefull tool yet to show up for their district...i can see so mutch potential in this system beeing used not only for that but to someday even use the system for sign-ups!! would save a bunch of time at the tracks something that could innovate the sport in a verry positive way...no lines for sign ups..im all for that!!! for more information on that app check the general chatterboard on here or go to wnyma. com and get the scoop there....i downloaded it and am verry impressed
wnyracing has some cool new plans this year too...wnyr has gotten the loretta lynns area qualifyer at area 51 this year and is coming up verry verry soon..so more information on how that goes as i learn more.. also cohocton joins them for 2011 and beyone re-opening there dooors...as a former site of the wma national should prove to be good racing...
in other news this weekend i ventured over the border to toronto for the supercross..it was quite a race..local sensation bobby k KILLED it in his timed pratices topping the charts for bolth qualifyers but saddyly was just a bit shy in his heat race to make the main ull geter bobby yr time will come..saw alot of famillar faces.. willy satru, sunny drake, brian cooke, brian vanella, steve prockop, and the entire usmx crew was up there....i was fortinate enough to have a few extra indurtie passes due to some frends not beeing able to make is so i gave them to michelle of motomemories to get some floor and pit access for pictures so make shure that you follow this site for pictures so thanks to motomemories for some up close pictures of the pros...but it was a good time and some of the best racing ive seen all season reed now has the points lead and its looking like a reapate of 2006 coming down to vegas..but other then the supercross..id have to say canada is deffinatly not for me so god bless MERICA! but also brian vanella, myself, and steve prockoup got to walk the track before the main witch was an interesting experiance to say the least . we need to let feld motorsports know how mutch we need a round at sayracuse so lets get er done next year and get a saryacuse round..its heavaly roumored that after monsterjams sold out show its deffenatly in the cards
